May Day

I was at the Chicago Mayday demonstration.

There were about 150 people of varying political leanings, from LGBT activists to the Socialist Workers Party, from Anti-deportation activists and Iraki Vets against war to Anarchists.
There was a great age spread from Zimmer frame oldies to sign painting kids.
It was, and I almost hate to say it, sweet. Spanish was by far the dominant language.
