Our area is in the process of having the water pipes upgraded. We got
a note through the door and a notice posted in the entry about not
having any water today and tomorrow from 09.00 to 15.00. But its cold
here in Stockholm at the moment. Minus 22 last night. And we still
have water. Maybe it is too cold to dig. Maybe the plumbers have to
deal with leaks. Who knows. And that's where localized twitter
accounts could help. If they had started a twitter feed for the
renovation project they could pop out a quick update on the water
situation and we wouldn't have to wonder. Wouldnt have to ring and
clog up the switchboard. Would get timely info from the people who
actually know whats going on: the plumbers.
It will happen. Just wish it would happen sooner.
