I am seeing a mass migration of my twitter bubble to
plurk.com. Anyone here noticing a similar shift amongst their bubbles?
Lots of my contacts are starting to use plurk as a kind of twitter back
channel. Lots of moaning about Twitter down time and problems. This
bodes not well for the Twitter-base.
A back channel can so easily become the front one and the switch is done.
It is also worth noticing that despite jaikus availability and
benefits, it has never managed to grab the audience in the way plurk
seems to be doing. This is not a good sign for jaiku.
Twitter feels
like a favourite niece/nephew with problems. I wont abandon them, I
will try to support them, but I probably wont be going out for a drink
with them till they clean up their act :-)
