arbetarklassen, det skrivna ordet och bloggkon 2.0

Jag ser att många är upprörda över en del av mina kommentarer om oralitet kontra det skrivna ordet. Jag hinner inte skriva ett djupare svar just nu, men ska göra det under de näst kommande dagar. Då har jag hunnit läsa igenom de olika synpunketer och kommentarer.

Men under tiden kan ni som är intreserade läsa ett tidigare inlägg som handlar om just detta. Diskussionen om oraliteten kommer ca halvvägs inne i posten.

EU statistik kring internetanvändeandet

Enligt en ny EU-rapport - Internet usage in the EU25 - är det ca 90% av företagen som använder sig av nätet och över hälften av dem har bredbandskonnektivitet.
Sverige har flest individuella användare (82%) och Grekland minst med 20%.
Flera män än kvinnor använder nätet.
Det är gruppen 16 - 24-åringar som är de största använderna. (En viktig statistik för strategiskt planering av kommande sociala, politiska och kommersiella verksamheter).

Results of the workshop on Free and Open Source Software and International Cooperation

(17 May 2005) This workshop was dedicated to open source software and international cooperation. The workshop had been organized by the European Commission's Information Society and Media Directorate General, more particularly the units dealing with "Software Technologies" and "International Relations". The rationale for the workshop was that the phenomenon of open source software has received worldwide attention. The workshop had speakers from Japan, Korea and China. Also main European activities in the domain of OSS and international cooperation were presented. This was followed by a round table discussion with participants from European industry. The workshop offered a unique mix of information from Asian and European activities, and provided illuminating views from industry.
